Verket markerer stedet som et representasjonssted både for Norge som nasjon, og for de mange nordmenn som har utvandret til USA. Motivet knytter seg til en gjengs forestilling om det typisk norske - den lille trehytten i den storslagne naturen. The photograph is shot from inside an old carpentry shed overlooking a landscape in Northern Norway.
