Katrine Giævers verk for glassbroen mellom den nye og den gamle delen av musikkhøgskolen har tittelen Merging colours in transit. En rytmisk lek med fargestriper og fargeflater i to lag glass danner et tredje fargesjikt når man beveger seg forbi. Stripene er ført videre inn i bygget og danner bindeledd til det andre av Giævers to verk: Veggarbeidet A snapshot of sound er utført i stucco lustro teknikk og strekker seg over tre etasjer rundt byggets konsertsal. Motivet framstår som materialiserte avtrykk av en hastig strøm av abstrakte lydbobler.

Katrine Giæver’s piece for the glass bridge connecting the old and the new parts of the music academy is entitled Merging Colors in Transit . Two sheets of glass decorated with colored stripes and surfaces in rhythmic interplay come together in a third layer of color when someone passes by. The stripes continue into the building, forming a link to the second of Giæver's two works: The wall piece entitled A Snapshot of Sound, executed in a stucco lustro technique, spans three floors encircling the building's concert hall. The artist's marks read as physical imprints of a rapid flow of abstract sound bubbles.
