I veggmåleriet sitt i vestibylen har Heidi Rødstøl gått i ein utforskande dialog med arkitekturen i rommet. Vestibylen er dominert av ei stor trapp, og store glasvegger mot sør og nord speglar rommet og trappa. Lysskiftingane i rommet og fragmenterte spegelbilete i rutene i glasveggen dannar nye abstraherte konstruksjonar som Rødstøl har teke med vidare i veggmåleriet. I dette har ho teke utgangspunkt i fotografi av trappa frå ulike vinklar og sett dei saman i ein ny konstruksjon.

Through her wall painting in the entrance hall, Heidi Rødstøl enters into an exploratory dialogue with the architecture of the space. The entrance hall is visually dominated by a large staircase, and the big glass walls to the south and north mirror the room and the stairs. The shifting light in the space and the fragmented reflections in the panes of the glass wall create abstracted shapes that Rødstøl has incorporated into the wall painting: Using photographs of the staircase from various angles, the artist has assembled these forms into a new construction.
