A national open competition and an international pre-qualifying competition for Kilden, the new performing arts centre in Kristiansand in Norway.

PRESS RELEASE: Three proposals for Kilden have been selected

KORO and the art committee for Kilden held an open competition for proposals for art projects around the entrance area for Kilden Teater- og konserthus (Performing Arts Centre in Southern Norway). The intention was to invite artists to contribute to Kilden as a creative meeting place, where audiences could interact with works of art that would give rise to wonderment in anticipation of their visit.

The book Kunst for menneskelige basalbehov presents the art project that was carried out at Bygg for biologiske basalfag at the University of Bergen in the period 1999-2006. The book is in Norwegian, but has an introduction in english.
