INTERNATIONAL PRE-QUALIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT, OPEN UNTIL 1 MARCH 2010.

 

6 artists are to be selected for the competition. The selection committee will additionally invite up to three artists directly to the competition.

Participants in the competition will receive a fee of 65,000 NOK for each entry.

The total budget for the art project is 2 million NOK

The pre-qualification presentation should be a maximum of ten A4 pages (on paper, not e-mailed or on CD).  The submission should include a presentation of art projects, a CV and practise and relevant experience.  The Art Committee also wants to see, in brief, motivation for entering the competition and reason for interest in the project.  No ideas or sketches for this project are wanted at this stage.

These pages will be updated and will show the results of the pre-qualifying round. The Art Committee aim to publish the result within 2 months of the submission date. The winners will be contacted directly.

The competition is arranged according to KOROs normal practice (Public Art Norway), where the members of the art committee will be the jury.
